4. Result
LPFL has cooperated with Committees and the meeting was held at the village.
They had reviewed fire damage in the plantations and in the forests; this is big damage for LPFL and Laos also. In the meeting the Committee tried to show impacts (in case forest fire has occurred) the income from wood products will be decreased.  In the meeting we requested all attendants to assist us to stop burning grass and trees for hunting or other purposes, also some farmers with rice fields near the plantations or forests whowant to burn grass in their fields, they have to inform the concerned staff beforehand.

Villager’s Comments
-  The village authority and the villagers have agreed and they will help for firefighting. After that the village authority has to disseminate and explain more about the Lao law, decrees and orders concerning to fire prevention.
-
The villagers should be glad to help to stop fire in case the fires occur.
-
In case the villagers saw the smoke inside of the plantation they will call to staff, supervisors and other concerned people.
