“First Aid Training” and “Health Care”

On 19th March 2015, LPFL plantation and sawmill staff attended a course on First Aid Training by Japan Heart which included “CPR”, bleeding control and treatment for fractures to the body during an accident or incident. All the training was conducted with the use of hypothetical accidents, including some in the saw mill. The trainees now have some real understanding as to how to save the patient, call for help and activate the LPFL emergency system.

On 20thJapan Heart also had some time to teach about “Health Care” in general, especially focused on hypertension and diabetes. LPFL staff now have some understanding as to the potential cause and symptoms associated and how to prevent or mitigate these diseases by themselves.
